Hi! I’m Lindsey. Owner and creator of Signed by LS in Montgomery, Alabama. I’m still the one behind the power tools, the paint pens and the creative mindset. But nowadays, I put a lot of my time into holding a small embroidery needle. I own all the tools. I cut, paint, stain, and hand-letter all my signs and embroidery work free handed (non stencil, no vinyl). I even wood burn! Since I was a little girl, I’ve always had a passion for creating. I might have won a couple “Buckle Up Alabama” drawing competitions in my younger years! I stumbled upon trying out woodworking with my dad in late 2017, and have loved it ever since. I’m always finding another tool to join my collection, and forever finding new ways to put my artistic talent to work. And when I got pregnant at the end of 2020, I knew I wanted to learn hand embroidery to make cute onesies for my future daughter. I wouldn't be where I am today without the support from the handsome man that stands beside me daily. No two signs/designs are the same. And there’s always something wonderful about authentic, real wood art that will last for years. And detailed work of an embroidery piece like my custom embroidered home pieces or my Heirloom Silhouette Christmas Ornaments.
